Verdensskoven in Gørding is a true eldorado of experiences from the wide world, and both young and older botanists can explore different kinds of wood as well as the vast meadows.
What You Will See
The sand boxes at the large playground in Verdensskoven are made in the shape of South America and Africa, which you will see from the large signs that, in an adventurous style, also point towards Ønskeøen (Neverland) and Månen (the moon). The playground equipment is innovative and challenges the children’s imagination, and they soon discover that there is equipment for balancing, climbing, and sliding.
You may also meet a variety of the world’s different animal species in the form of sculptures, and the children can thus pet a lion, visit the condor’s nest, or get a glimpse of a crocodile or a bear.
